Niemeyer Brothers Welding purchased a shop located at 4713 - 49th Avenue, Olds, AB in June 1971 and expanded their business. Further changes occurred in November 1973 when Niemeyer Brothers Welding became an incorporated company known as Niemeyer Bros. Welding Ltd.

 Our History
In October of 1968, brothers William F. Niemeyer and Henry J. Niemeyer purchased the Otto Schmidt Blacksmith Shop located at 49th Avenue & 50th Street, Olds, Alberta and started the business known as Niemeyer Brothers Welding.

Niemeyer Brothers Welding then purchased the lot and built a shop at 4713 - 49th Avenue, Olds, AB in June 1971 and expanded their business. Further changes occurred in November 1973 when Niemeyer Brothers Welding became an incorporated company, now known as Niemeyer Bros. Welding Ltd.

September 1975 brought another change when Niemeyer Bros. Welding Ltd. purchased the shop located at 4701 - 49th Avenue, Olds, AB. and opened the shop known as Niemeyer's Oilfield Supplies.

The next generation joined the organization when some restructuring took place in February 2004. Niemeyer Bros. Welding Ltd. was now owned by William F. Niemeyer & William J. Niemeyer, father and son. Niemeyer's Oilfield Supplies was now owned by Henry J. Niemeyer & Colin Niemeyer, father and son.

November 2005 brought about another change when Niemeyer Bros. Welding Ltd. had a name change and Niemeyer's Welding & Machining Ltd. was born, same people - just a new name.
