For more than five decades, Niemeyer’s Welding & Machining Ltd. has been a trusted name in Olds and across Central Alberta. Founded in 1968, our company began as a small blacksmith shop and has grown into a full-service welding, machining, and fabrication business serving farms, oilfield operations, and local industries.

Our Story
In 1968, brothers William (Bill) and Henry Niemeyer purchased the Otto Schmidt Blacksmith Shop in Uptowne Olds. Over the years, the business expanded, evolving into Niemeyer’s Welding & Machining Ltd. Today, the next generation continues that legacy, carrying forward the same dedication to service that has kept us in business for over 55 years.
